In This Economy …

by Jason Unger

How are you doing in this economy?

If you’re watching too much TV, you may think that it’s impossible to succeed right now. But that’s not the case.

Check out this brilliant video from the folks at thefullginsburg.com to see one of the most-used phrases on TV today.

Hello.

I would like to put a link to your site on my blog roll if you want to do the same for mine. It would be a good way to build up both of our readerships.

thank you.

Holy cow! After awhile, the word “economy” lost all meaning for me watching that video. LOL

I’m guilty of it too. I say that a lot, and on my blog as well. It’s true things are tough, but honestly, the media is more interested in scaring you to death instead of informing you.

Yeah, it’s really easy to use “in this economy” to set the context for whatever you’re talking about. I don’t think the media is intentionally looking to scare people, but it’s implied in the frequency the phrase gets used.
