ING Direct, one of the best-known online banks with a high-yield savings account, has re-designed its site and added some new features to its Electric Orange checking account.
Some of the new features added include:
- Integrated Bill Pay Center ? Make payments, review pending and recent payments, view eBills and much more all from one page.
- Recurring Payment Options ? Choose from increased frequency options that allow you to make recurring payments whenever you want.
- Payment Calendar ? The dynamic calendar allows you to see the earliest date a payment can be delivered.
- Quick Add ? Add a bill by simply entering a phone number.
- Automatic Bill Reminders ? Set up email notifications to notify you when a bill is due, an eBill is receive, the next instance of a recurring payment is automatically scheduled, a payment has not been made by the day the payment is due, a recurring payment has been sent
- eBills ? These are electronic versions of your paper bills delivered to you through Electric Orange Bill Pay. Hundreds of billers, including utilities, retailers and credit card companies, make their bills available online through Bill Pay.
- Sort Bill Pay History ? Sort payments and bills by biller name, category, amount, debit date, pay date and status.
- Search Bill Pay History ? Search for payments and bills for a selected date range by biller name, category, payment status, and account number.
If you log into your ING account, you’ll notice it looks a little different — while the interface is mostly the same, they’ve spruced up the look and feel of the site.
